- They can be the sweetest things in the world.
- They can also be pains in the rears.
- Small enclosed spaces are preferred cat resting places.
- When they purr (especially while lying on your stomach) it is easy to forgive them for anything.
- Except kneading you in tender places with sharp claws.
- Cats always want to be the center of attention, and have mastered the fine art of coming between you and your book.
- Or the computer screen.
- Or your knitting.
- Plus, they tend to play with your knitting while you are trying to get them out of the way.
- Cats or kittens at rest can always bring a smile to my face.
- They can be incredibly affectionate to other animals, including both other cats, and dogs.
- And sometimes horses.
- Though they tend to run away from overly curious rabbits.
